It is with great pleasure and excitement that I extend a warm welcome to you as the Secretary-General of the 11th annual Nexus International School Model United Nations Conference, NISMUNC 2024.
I am incredibly proud and honoured to lead a Secretariat Team that has worked tirelessly to make this conference possible. Their dedication and passion for creating a meaningful and impactful event have been truly commendable. Together, we have aimed to build an environment that encourages dialogue, fosters collaboration, and challenges the intellect of all delegates.
Our chosen theme for this year, '#cha11engedby_,' reflects the core spirit of NISMUNC. The agendas presented have been curated with care by our Secretariat Team and Board of Dias to address the most relevant and pressing issues facing our world today. We hope that these topics will inspire active and heated debates, encouraging you to delve into the complexities of global affairs. The skills you refine and develop through NISMUNC 2024 will undoubtedly be valuable assets as you navigate the challenges of the future.
Beyond the council rooms and debates, our Secretariat Team hopes NISMUNC 2024 offers a unique opportunity for participants to create friendships and cherish unforgettable memories through shared experiences and collaborative moments, even after the conference ends.
